Being interested in historical landmarks, I had always wanted to visit Turkeys Sunken Palace, located in Istanbul. I planned to stay awhile so I elected to rent an Istanbul holiday apartments for my stay. I have the option of renting by the day or week and all utilities were included as well as Internet. This was the perfect set up for my stay and the Internet gave me access to research other attractions that may be of interest during my stay. The Sunken Palace was amazing, as was the Hagia Sophia museum. My apartment location allowed me close proximity to major attractions and historic sights and gave me a clean and restful place to relax after a long day. A balcony allowed me to look out over the glistening seawater, which added even more visual beauty to my adventure. I hope to return to Istanbul and I plan to stay in a holiday apartment if I do. The following day, I set out on my adventure and visited the Hagia Sophiaa majestic, historical cathedral museum. It was magnificent, and I soon realized the idea my client was trying to achieve. After taking many photos of the Hagia Sophia, and several other cathedral built buildings, I had all I needed to please my client. I do not think I have ever enjoyed research so much as I did those two weeks in Istanbul. I hope to return someday, but this time for pleasure; I would not hesitate to go again for work.

A Risky Trip
The wife and I have been planning to go on holiday for the past year. She made reservations at the place where I proposed to her the very day they came available, and we were probably the first on the list for reservations at restaurants in the area. But then silly me had to go and get in an accident, and now my leg is all messed up and in a cast. I told her that although I really did not want to do it, we aught to look at Holiday cancellations and what we might be able to do to at least change our plans to a different time. I know that she has to be a bit disappointed, but she is keeping her chin up and carrying on. That is why I love her so much. She is brave, and knows how to deal with any old thing that gets in her way, making happiness where ever she finds herself.

We Are Deciding Where to Take Our Holiday
Judy and I have a bit of extra money this year. I am going to get a very substantial bonus at my job and Judy has been doing a good of independent contracting on the side. In fact she is sort of wondering if she might not start doing it full time since she is making a good deal of money in her spare time right now. Of course we are not sure it is going to be steady since she has only done it for a couple of months. Right now we are thinking about Tanzania safari Holidays and trips to the Far East. The African safari seems to be ahead right now and I am thinking about getting a new Digital SLR to take along. I have an old 35mm camera with lots of lenses and I figure that I should find a DSLR which the lenses will fit onto.

Student Housing in London
When my daughter was accepted into London University, I couldn’t have been more proud, but there were concerns as well. The cost of attending University is rising in the UK, though I was certain my daughter would qualify for funding. But there were also concerns about her safety in the big city, as well as the cost of housing. London is one of the most expensive cities in the world, and I wasn’t sure she was prepared for the change in living expenses. We began by searching the web for cheap student accommodation London, and found more options than we had expected. Lofts, small flats and shared student houses were among the possibilities.
