Being interested in historical landmarks, I had always wanted to visit Turkeys Sunken Palace, located in Istanbul. I planned to stay awhile so I elected to rent an Istanbul holiday apartments for my stay. I have the option of renting by the day or week and all utilities were included as well as Internet. This was the perfect set up for my stay and the Internet gave me access to research other attractions that may be of interest during my stay. The Sunken Palace was amazing, as was the Hagia Sophia museum. My apartment location allowed me close proximity to major attractions and historic sights and gave me a clean and restful place to relax after a long day. A balcony allowed me to look out over the glistening seawater, which added even more visual beauty to my adventure. I hope to return to Istanbul and I plan to stay in a holiday apartment if I do. To get the full effect of what I needed to do, I traveled to Istanbul Turkey and stayed in the Istanbul Holiday Apartments. The following day, I set out on my adventure and visited the Hagia Sophiaa majestic, historical cathedral museum. It was magnificent, and I soon realized the idea my client was trying to achieve. After taking many photos of the Hagia Sophia, and several other cathedral built buildings, I had all I needed to please my client. I do not think I have ever enjoyed research so much as I did those two weeks in Istanbul. I hope to return someday, but this time for pleasure; I would not hesitate to go again for work.

A Risky Trip
The wife and I have been planning to go on holiday for the past year. She made reservations at the place where I proposed to her the very day they came available, and we were probably the first on the list for reservations at restaurants in the area. But then silly me had to go and get in an accident, and now my leg is all messed up and in a cast. I told her that although I really did not want to do it, we aught to look at Holiday cancellations and what we might be able to do to at least change our plans to a different time. I know that she has to be a bit disappointed, but she is keeping her chin up and carrying on. That is why I love her so much. She is brave, and knows how to deal with any old thing that gets in her way, making happiness where ever she finds herself.

We Are Deciding Where to Take Our Holiday
Judy and I have a bit of extra money this year. I am going to get a very substantial bonus at my job and Judy has been doing a good of independent contracting on the side. In fact she is sort of wondering if she might not start doing it full time since she is making a good deal of money in her spare time right now. Of course we are not sure it is going to be steady since she has only done it for a couple of months. Right now we are thinking about Tanzania safari Holidays and trips to the Far East. The African safari seems to be ahead right now and I am thinking about getting a new Digital SLR to take along. I have an old 35mm camera with lots of lenses and I figure that I should find a DSLR which the lenses will fit onto.

A Bachelorette Party in Sydney
Some people say I’m crazy for holding my bachelorette party in Sydney! Why am I crazy if I am going to have my wedding there? I am going to get a cheap car hire Sydney has got for us girls and we are going to party the night away. We have a designated driver, and we are going to have so much fun. This is certainly something that we will remember for a long time to come. I think that the people who are complaining are just the people who cannot afford to come. I asked all my closest friends if they could come, and the answers were all yes. I just sent the rest of the invitations out so that the people feel special. I don’t really care if these people come or not, and I think that it is hilarious that they actually complained about it. Little did they know that it was done on purpose.

Student Housing in London
When my daughter was accepted into London University, I couldn’t have been more proud, but there were concerns as well. The cost of attending University is rising in the UK, though I was certain my daughter would qualify for funding. But there were also concerns about her safety in the big city, as well as the cost of housing. London is one of the most expensive cities in the world, and I wasn’t sure she was prepared for the change in living expenses. We began by searching the web for cheap student accommodation London, and found more options than we had expected. Lofts, small flats and shared student houses were among the possibilities. We called around and chose a few that looked promising, and made appointments to view them. It wasn’t long before we found a nice shared house with a couple of young ladies in a nice neighborhood. When you first mover here, a vitally important step for you to take is to obtain an NIE number. This number identifies you for tax purposes, and without it, you won’t be able to buy a car (or real estate), open a bank account, or register for utilities. In order to apply for one of these numbers, you’ll need to stop by the nearest office of foreigners. Don’t forget to bring your passport, a photocopy of it, two passport sized photos, and an application form. These offices are notoriously busy. You’ll need to arrive before they open, and most likely, you’ll still have to wait in line even then. Still, after all of that, you’ll have to wait a few weeks for your number to actually be assigned. If you’re going to be in Spain for more than three months, then you’ll also be required to obtain a certificate of registration.

Travel in a Post 9/11 World
Many people like to travel, though, in many ways, the world seems to have become a much more dangerous place in which people can travel. This is especially true after the events which happened on September 11, 2001 in the United States of America, when the terrorist group Al Qaeda crashed planes in New York City and Washington, D.C. These terrorist attacks forever changed the way that people approached travel, especially international travel that involved airports and things of that nature. Many airports immediately increased their security procedures and security levels all throughout the world. People soon had to give up some of their rights to privacy, and had to further go through pat downs or other ways of making sure they did not have weapons or anything of that nature on them. It has been a tough transition, but it seems that people are adjusting to this well, and it seems travel has gotten safer.
